Travel Guide

I grew up within the walls of Kumbum Monastery, where my uncle was a lama. My playground was courtyards echoing with sutras, my education the vibrant thangkas and butter sculptures adorning the halls. Today, I bridge that sacred world with curious travelers, offering intimate access to monastic life few ever witness.

Yangdon
Travel Consultant

I am a Tibetan-born guide with roots deep in the grasslands of Amdo. My childhood was shaped by the rhythms of nomadic life, monastery chants at dawn, and stories told around the hearth. Today, I walk the line between two worlds—honoring the old ways while guiding curious hearts through our sacred landscapes.

Tenzin Tsedan
Driver

"In Tibet, we say the mountains have eyes. They watch over travelers who pass with respect. I am Tsedan, and I have been watched over by these mountains my entire life. For 8 years, I've guided travelers across the highest roads on Earth – from the Khampa Land's shadow to the northern plains of the Amdo, from turquoise lakes to Everest's towering face. My vehicle is my monastery on wheels. Before each journey, I offer barley flour to the four directions. At every mountain pass, I add a stone to the cairn and whisper a prayer. These are not rituals for show – they are my responsibility as a child of Tibet and as your driver. Come, sit beside me. Let the road unfold. The mountains are waiting."
