Trotong Lake ཁྲོ་ཐུང་མཚེའུ

Trotong Lake” or “Cuotong Cui Lake”, is located in Trotong Village near Manigango, Dege County, Garze Prefecture. It is composed of three connected lakes of different sizes and irregular shapes. It is composed of approximately 4,600 meters above sea level.

This is a mountain tourist attraction currently under development. It is called a secret place by many people. Coming here feels like being in a fairy tale world. The scenery here is beautiful, like an emerald lake, just like a sapphire embedded in the mountains!

Legend has it that it was the territory of Trotong, the uncle of King Ling Gesar. Cuotong Village in Cuo’a Town is located next to National Highway 317, at an altitude of 3,700 meters. It is about 18 kilometers from Cuotong Village in Cuo’a Town to Cuotong Cuihu Lake, which takes about 1 hour to drive.
