Day 01: Xining(2270m)

Arrive in the gorgeous town of Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province, where you’ll find your  guide ready and waiting to transfer you from the airport to Hotel,

Day 02. Xining – Serkok monastery – Chusang Monastery – Xining 150km km 5 – 6hrs 

In the morning drive 65km to the Serkok monastery built in 1732 by the lama longpa Dhondup or Dhondup Gyatso from Drepung monastery in Lhasa. Afterwards drive to Chusang monastery located 20km east from Serkok monastery. Chusang monastery was founded in 1649 by the 1st Chusang Namgyal Paljor. Afternoon drive back to Xining.

Day 03Xining – Gonlong monastery – Shachuang Monastery – Repkong (2900m) 170km 5 – 6 hrs  

In the morning drive to Gonlong monastery. is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of Gelug sect. The monastery was founded in 1604 by Gyeltse Donyo Chokyi Gyatso. Gönlung Jampa Ling housed the first Geluk seminary in Northeastern Tibet and was the seat if a number of important, high-ranking lamas including the Changkya and Thuken incarnation lineages. Gonlung is one of four famous Tibetan monasteries (Chuzang, Serkhog, Shachung and Gonlung) in north-east Tibet, earlier considered as a border area between Tibet and China. Afterwards drive to Shachuang monastery. Shanhuang is an major Geluk monastery in Amdo. It was established in 1349 by Choje Dondrub Rinchen, a teacher of Tsongkhapa, on the site of an institution established by the Second Karmapa, Karma Pakshi in the twelfth century. Then drive to Repkong.

Day 04: Repkong – Ganggya Grassland  Labrang (3010m) 103km 4-5hrs

 In the morning drive to Labrang via the famous Gangya grassland to reach Labrang town. Before get Gangya grassland. You can also have a stop at the Gartse monastery. Labrang is located in Xiahe (CH)County of Amdo province.

 Day 05Labrang – Xining 280km 5 hrs  

 In the morning Visit Labrang monastery. is one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. Its formal name is Genden Shédrup Dargyé Trashi Gyésu khyilwé Ling. The monastery was founded in 1709 by the first Jamyang Shêlpa, Ngawang Tsondru. It is Tibetan Buddhism’s most important monastery town outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region. afternoon. Drive back to Xining.

Day 06: Depart Xining 

Your guide will transfer you to the Xining airport.
